Parker is notorious for ending up sleeping in precarious, silly, and just downright weird places and positions. More than once I've gotten up in the middle of the night, only to find her bed empty. I don't panic anymore, simply do a quick search of the house. One time I found her on my pillow. How I managed to be completely unaware of her sleeping millimeters from my face, wake up, and walk down the hall and
still not notice, is beyond me. She's like a ninja. Most nights when I go to tuck her in, she'll have socks or mittens on her hands, seven books, all her dolls and maybe a toothbrush in bed with her. Remember when I came home in the
wee hours of the morning only to find her sitting at the bottom of the stairs dreamily twirling her hair? Tonight when we went upstairs we found this:
Note the open book and collection of toys surrounding her.
Some more of Parker's all time greatest hits.
I'm still not even sure how she managed this, she was pretty big and it was tough to get her legs back out of those slats:
This was a spider hat that she was obsessed with and wouldn't NOT go to bed with:
And this is just one of my favorite pictures of her. So sweet.
